I was told by the Pride representative that these bowls would prevent the cereal from running over. I have not found this to be the case. I tried microwaving with the top off, with the top on, and with the plug removed. In all 3 cases, the cereal still boiled over. Plus, after the first minute when you stir the cereal, the top is hard to get back on and the bowl wants to collapse. Also, when you take it out of the microwave, the bowl is too hot to handle. Very disappointed especially since I purchased two bowls!

This collapsible bowl is better than I thought. With one serving of Rice and Grinds and one scoop of protein powder mixed in it can still be collapsed after cooling for transport. Great add to my daily meal prep bag.
